I'm halfway through A Beautiful Disguise right now, and I have a feeling it'll be in my top 10 for 2024, even though it's so early in the year. A Sound of Light would have probably been an honorable mention for last year's favorites, if I had added any.

I've read a couple of the books on your list, including Hunger Games. I appreciate the themes in this books so much! They're timeless: courage, sacrifice, standing up for what's right. Have you read Catching Fire? It's my favorite of the series.

Several of these are on my list as well. I also liked This and Every Christmas and had hoped to get to the other two books, but didn't. Happy New Year!

I love all her books and would definitely recommend this one! I learned a lot about the Danish Resistance in WWII.
