Top Ten Tuesday

Sometimes life gets in the way of reading. Isn't that an inconvenient truth? Here are seven books I would have loved to read in 2021, and some of them are on my bookshelf calling my name even now. Maybe this year I'll be able to get to them!

The Paris Dressmaker "The Paris Dressmaker" by Kristy Cambron
Everyone says this book is amazing, and I believe them because I've read Kristy's other books! Maybe soon...

A Time to Seek "A Time to Seek" by Tracy Higley
I love Tracy's historical fiction, and now she's branched out into time travel! I can't wait to read this.

Windward Shore "Windward Shore" by Sharon Hinck
I've been impatiently waiting for the chance to read this whole series because I've loved Sharon's other fantasy novels.

Bookshop by the Sea "Bookshop by the Sea" by Denise Hunter
Here's an embarrassing confession: I've never read anything by Denise Hunter. It's not because I haven't wanted to, but somehow her titles always slip through the cracks. This one, however, seems very relatable to my actual life, and it's on my wishlist. Literally!

Shadows of Swanford Abbey "Shadows of Swanford Abbey" by Julie Klassen
I was supposed to read this one in December, but my review copy didn't arrive until five weeks after its publication date. Yikes! Now that it's here I'll read it as soon as I can.

Lethal Intent "Lethal Intent" by Cara Putman
I ended up with two copies of this book, so I gave one of them to a friend for Christmas. She read it immediately and said it was fantastic. I knew it would be! One of these days I'll experience it for myself.

Facing the Dawn "Facing the Dawn" by Cynthia Ruchti
I really love Cynthia's books, both fiction and non-fiction, but somehow this one has eluded me so far. I'm keeping an eye out for it!
