By day she's Keira Knudson, geography teacher. By night she's Kat Wanderfull, anonymous travel blogger and social media influencer.
Keira loves chasing her dreams as she continues to recover from her abusive upbringing. She's definitely not ready to settle down, which means she must say no to her boyfriend's very public proposal. She's glad it's nearly summer break and she can be off on her next big adventure.
Robbie has been in love with Keira since he was 17. She broke his heart after college, and his own bad decisions led to him becoming a single father, and now they've spent the past few years trying their best to avoid each other. But when he catches her boyfriend throwing out one of Keira's most precious possessions, suddenly Robbie finds himself back in Keira's life.
Can they work things out after years of misunderstandings and betrayal? Can Robbie even begin to think about uprooting his life to support Keira's dreams when he has a young daughter to look after? And when Anabelle's birth mother comes back on the scene, things get even more complicated.
This is a richly layered story. There's lots of real life stuff here, as well as the fun of traveling with Kat to places far and wide. Relationships are not easy, especially not with complications of the past crowding in.
I enjoyed Keira and Robbie's story, and can't wait for the next book in this series, releasing in October.
