 Top Ten Tuesday

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Jane Austen is a beloved author. Even if you don't like her, you must admit that many do. I'm a fan! Here are some other authors of Regency fiction that you might enjoy if you love our dear Jane.

Julie Klassen Julie Klassen
Julie loves all things Jane (both Jane Austen and Jane Eyre!) and is the gold standard in Christian Regency fiction.

Erica Vetsch Erica Vetsch
Erica has written in several different historical time periods, though I've only read (and really enjoyed!) her Regency novels.

Michelle Griep  Michelle Griep
Michelle writes Regency and Victorian fiction with a flair for adventure and lore.

Sarah E Ladd Sarah E. Ladd
Besides writing wonderful novels, Sarah has some of the most beautiful covers in all of Christian fiction, in my opinion.

Kristi Ann Hunter Kristi Ann Hunter
I appreciate how Kristi writes stories with characters who don't fit the usual Regency mold, in one way or another.

Abigail Wilson Abigail Wilson
If you enjoy mysteries or a more Gothic slant, Abigail is definitely one I would recommend.

Carolyn Miller Carolyn Miller
Carolyn is an Australian author whose Regency novels really drop you into the era. She also writes contemporary fiction.

Melanie Dickerson Melanie Dickerson
Although best known for her fairy tale retellings, Melanie does have several Regency suspense novels to her credit.

Joanna Barker Joanna Barker
I confess, so far I have only read one of Joanna's stories, but I look forward to reading more in the future.

Mimi Matthews Mimi Matthews
Mimi writes both Regency and Victorian romance for the general market. Her books are hard to put down, let me tell you!
