You know what I love on road trips? Good company, good snacks, and good audiobooks! We can add some good music in the mix as well, but audiobooks keep me awake even better than tunes. I just want to know what's going to happen next in the story! Here are nine audiobooks I've taken on road trips with me, and all of them did the job in keeping me entertained and alert along the way.
"Life After" by Katie GanshertThe sole survivor of a terrorist attack must learn to keep living when so many others died that day.
"Counted Among the Stars" by Connilyn CossetteAn Egyptian woman decides to leave with the Israelite slaves, encountering a God she's never known before.
"Holding the Fort" by Regina JenningsA dance hall singer masquerades as a governess in Indian Territory, giving one very proper major no end of trouble.
"Molly" by Sarah MonzonBeing a compulsive truth-teller and working with children can get a woman into all manner of predicaments.
"The Negotiator" by Dee HendersonA hostage negotiator and an FBI agent team up to stop a terrorist who is somehow connected to her past.
(Hmm, this is the second book on this list about a terrorist, and both are set in Chicago! That's a weird coincidence.)
"Her One and Only" by Becky WadeAn NFL player doesn't like having a stalker, nor does he like having a female protective agent on the case.
"Unlocked" by Karen KingsburyCan music make a difference when nothing else has bridged the gap for Holden Harris?

"Flabbergasted" and "A Delirious Summer" by Ray Blackston
Perennial favorites. Zany tales of God changing plans and changing lives in South Carolina and around the world.
