It is a truth universally acknowledged that Jane Austen is a beloved author. Even if you don't like her, you must admit that many do. I'm a fan! Here are some other authors of Regency fiction that you might enjoy if you love our dear Jane.

Julie Klassen
Julie loves all things Jane (both Jane Austen and Jane Eyre!) and is the gold standard in Christian Regency fiction.

Sarah E. Ladd
Besides writing wonderful novels, Sarah has some of the most beautiful covers in all of Christian fiction, in my opinion.

Kristi Ann Hunter
I appreciate how Kristi writes stories with characters who don't fit the usual Regency mold, in one way or another.

Erica Vetsch
Erica has written in several different historical time periods, though I've only read (and really enjoyed!) her Regency novels.

Abigail Wilson
If you enjoy mysteries or a more Gothic slant, I've been delighted with Abigail's novels and can't wait for her January release.

Carolyn is an Australian author whose Regency novels really drop you into the era. She also writes contemporary fiction.

Mimi writes both Regency and Victorian romance for the general market. Her books are hard to put down, let me tell you!

I loved Camille's Prelude for a Lord, and I'd love to read her other Regency releases, which focus on spies and intrigue.
