Do you like to laugh when you read? I do! I love to laugh when I do just about anything. 😀 Here's a collection of books which have tickled my funny bone, and if you're looking for something to lighten up this last part of winter, maybe you'll want to check some of them out. 🙂

I love this whole series. Stockbroker Jay moves from TX to SC and starts attending church to meet single women—but in the process, Jesus gets ahold of his life and turns it all around.

The Fort Reno series by Regina Jennings
Shenanigans abound in Fort Reno. Whether you've got a dance hall singer posing as a governess, the vestiges of the camel cavalry, an accidental marriage, or the Oklahoma Land Run, you're in for an adventure!

The Sewing in SoCal series by Sarah Monzon
This group of friends brings the laughs while also tackling real-life issues in today's world. I really enjoyed the first two books and have "Nicole" lined up to read soon.

This series was one of the favorites from my childhood, and I've reread them many times as an adult. Four 12-year-olds, one summer basketball league. Faith, fun, friendship, and some mystery solving thrown in, too!

Two words: Ty Porter. Two more: Uncle Danny. I listened to this whole audiobook in the space of 24 hours, chuckling all along the way. It packs a punch in addressing more serious topics, too.

These three novellas follow the Renwycke siblings in charming Maple Valley, Iowa, as their holiday adventures bring them healing and love. Okay, these stories make me laugh *and* cry, so be advised of that going in!

The Mitchell's Crossroads series by Pepper Basham
Visit the Appalachian Mountains and stay a while at Mitchell's Crossroads. Enjoy Mama Mitchell's cooking and down-home wisdom, and be ready to giggle through the romantic adventures of the rest of the family.

The Mayberry Family Novella series by Tracy Joy Jones
These through-the-year holiday novellas capture the joy and craziness of a big family as they navigate the interests, relationships, and personalities of the various siblings.

The Ozark Mountain Romance series by Regina Jennings
These books are set in the Missouri Ozarks very near where I live, which makes them extra fun for me. 🙂 They're all laugh-out-loud funny, though my favorite of these three is the middle one.

All of Karen Witemeyer's books have humor in them, so I just pulled two of her standalone covers for this post. She has several series that you can check out as well. Her Texas settings are a draw, and I appreciate the way she approaches social topics as well.
