Feb. 18th, 2020 07:49 amI love reading. I guess that should be pretty obvious for someone who has a book review blog, right? But not all books capture me in the same way. These are the last ones that demanded my full attention, whether that would be staying up too late, reading them when I really should have been doing something else, etc. You know what I'm talking about. 😊 If you're looking for your next gripping read, considering checking out one of these.

"Shadow of the Storm" by Connilyn CossetteAs the Israelites camp at the base of Mt. Sinai, young midwife Shira has her life turned upside down through various situations. Captivating, though not for young readers.

"An Uncommon Woman" by Laura FrantzEveryone I know who has read this book has raved about it. It certainly captured me and pulled me into its eighteenth-century world. Highly recommended!
"The Bridge to Belle Island" by Julie KlassenA murder in London leads young attorney Benjamin Booker on an investigative journey—where he uncovers many people who might be the killer.
"On Wings of Devotion" by Roseanna M. WhiteThe man nicknamed Black Heart has been charged with killing his entire squadron, yet there's more to the story than others know... or than he wants to reveal.
"Meant For Her" by Joy Avery MelvilleThis book captivated me so much that I read it a second time and tried to savor the experience, but I had to rush through it again! It could be life-changing to the right reader.
