Feb. 4th, 2020

For this week's prompt I went back and counted how many books I rated as 5 stars last year. If I didn't count rereads, there were only 16 books that earned top marks from me in 2019. It was tough to make the cut! In looking at my upcoming TBR stack to guess which ones would most jump out at me, I chose these titles because they come from authors who have earned my trust for delivering great stories with their previous releases.

Land Beneath Us "The Land Beneath Us" by Sarah Sundin
I own all of Sarah's books, and in my personal opinion, no one does WWII stories better. Can't wait to read this one!

Like Flames In the Night "Like Flames in the Night" by Connilyn Cossette
The conclusion of Cossette's Cities of Refuge series should be every bit as good as the first three.

At Love's Command "At Love's Command" by Karen Witemeyer
I've been reading Karen's books for several years, and I think she just keeps getting better and better.

Stay With Me "Stay With Me" by Becky Wade
Becky Wade's new series promises characters who have a common trauma linking their past. I love deep contemporary stories!

...and a random book from my TBR shelf!
I have an actual shelf devoted to books I own but haven't read yet. Every now and then in between review commitments I have a chance to read one. I'm reserving the right to find a hidden treasure over there. 📚
