At the end of December I posted my favorite reads of 2019, but let me tell you, some of those lists were hard to narrow down! Today I'm sharing about some books that were in serious contention to make that cut, and are definitely on my keeper shelf to stay.
"The Number of Love" by Roseanna M. WhiteI love this author's historical suspense! In this story, a very unique character takes center stage as WWI unfolds in Europe.
"A Light On The Hill" by Connilyn CossetteThe cities of refuge as mention in Scripture have always tempted my imagination. Connilyn Cosette has brought them to life!
"The Governess of Penwythe Hall" by Sarah E. LaddRegency fiction will always hold a special place in my heart. This Cornish story holds a mix of mysterious characters to draw you in.
"The Major's Daughter" by Regina JenningsWe first met Caroline when she was a gangling youth, but now she's all grown up and ready to stake a claim in the Oklahoma Land Run.
"The Warrior Maiden" by Melanie DickersonMelanie Dickerson's fairy tale retellings always appeal to me, and this one of Mulan (one of my favorite Disney characters!) was a delight.
