I don't think you have to hang around here long to see that my reading comfort zone is centered on historical Christian fiction, but also branches into contemporary fiction, classic literature, and Christian living. That's not all I read, but a pretty good summation of the vast majority of it. Here's a peek at some novels on my keeper shelf which fall outside those lines.

Nobody's Child "Nobody's Child" by Austin Boyd
Bioethics and ethical dilemmas do not easy reading material make, but this book explores issues that are important and relevant in our world today. All of this author's books are a little outside my normal reading, but I've enjoyed each one.

Sword of Lyric series The Sword of Lyric series by Sharon Hinck
Fantasy is not my usual jam. It's hard for me to immerse myself in a world so totally different than our own. Hinck does such a good job here that this series ranks as one of my favorites of all time, and I'm excited about her new series releasing in January.

Hunger Games The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins
As I do not read much dystopian or general market fiction, it might be a little surprising that I like these so much. I love the themes the story revolves around, and Katniss and I share the same MBTI type, making it very easy to picture myself in her shoes.
