Ten Band Names That Would Make Good Book Titles

This week's prompt is actually Book Titles That Would Make Good Band Names, but I decided to turn it on its head. 😆 I've chosen the names of ten bluegrass bands and made up blurbs for each one as though it was a book. Let me know which of these you would choose to read! 

The Country Gentlemen – Historical Romance – A wealthy bachelor from out of state buys a plantation and sets the community a-flutter. A retelling of Pride and Prejudice set in the antebellum South.

Dixie Flyers – Contemporary Drama – A socially awkward group of acrobats tries to make a living as cruise ship entertainers.

Johnson Mountain Boys – Historical Romance – When their family moves west, sisters Annie and Kathleen have no end of new suitors and new adventures in this coming of age tale.

Oakhurst – Historical Thriller – An investigation is launched when orphans go missing from Oakhurst Children's Home, but things take a serious turn when someone starts murdering staff members one by one.

Trampled by Turtles – Children's Book – A modern day retelling of Aesop's Fable The Tortoise and the Hare, this book will teach children the value of persistence.

Salamander Crossing – Romance – A rich city doctor inherits his great-great-uncle's mobile home park, and in traveling to this small town finds love, quirky new friends, and the true meaning of life.

Psychograss – Science Fiction – As a kid everyone thought quicksand would be more of an issue, but no one was paying attention to the new threat slowly taking over the natural world.

Old Crow Medicine Show – Historical Fiction – The year is 1915 and Walks With Buffalo and his 12-year-old granddaughter try to navigate an ever-changing world by hosting a traveling medicine show.

The Dead South – Non-Fiction – This tome covers the years between Reconstruction and the Civil Rights movement in the southern United States.

Wow, you have quite a list! I've only read one of those books, though I may have also read all of the Karen Witemeyer novellas when they were in other collections. Happy holiday reading! :-D
